The name's Rider...Alex Rider

Main Character: Alex Rider is the main character in this story and he is one tough teenager! Not only does he keep up with his school work, but he is a also a secret agent for MI6, a group of special forces who take down terrorists and dictators in the U.K. In this story, Alex is around the age of 15, which really adds to the difficulty of his mission. Alex is around six-foot tall, athletically built, blonde hair, and blue eyes. He lives with a nanny named Jack Starbright when his uncle is away working.

Alex works under a man at MI6 named Tulip Jones who treats Alex like an unwanted son. Alex does not like Mr. Jones but he works for him, therefore he must treat him as his boss. Rider is much different from the other kids at his school and it upsets him that people view him as strange. Because of his secret work at MI6, not only does he miss school a lot but he cannot tell anyone why either. All of his classmates think he is just skipping everyday, but in reality, he is protecting them from all of the evil in the world.
