The beginning review of Alex Rider: Scorpia by Andrew Horowitz

Alex Rider: Scorpia (beginning) - In chapter one of Alex Rider: Scorpia, a group of cold blooded killers are introduced. This group is controlled in Venice, Italy, and they have named themselves Scorpia. The very few leaders of the group have a plan to kill thousands of children with a massive nuclear explosion to further the idea of natural selection. There is a woman named Julia Rothman, and she is the brains of the massacre. Julia wants to become the head of Scorpia over time and make her dreams of murdering thousands of innocents a reality. In order to do so, she plans to murder the leader of Scorpia. Whenever she accomplishes this, the world will come to fear what Scorpia can do. The first chapter of this book is incredible. It really grabs the attention of the reader and makes you wonder how anyone could take on a terrorist organization full of trained assassins. The suspense you get just from one chapter is enough to carry you through the book.
