Least Favorite Character

Warning: (The following rant is about a character in Alex Rider: Scorpia who serves no purpose and shouldn't even be in the series.)

Who is Tulip Jones?

Ms. Jones is a character in the Alex Rider novels who is an assistant at MI6 for Mr. Blunt. Ms. Jones is one of the first characters Alex goes to for advice on his mission. Tulip is easily my least favorite character because of the way she acts towards Alex. Ms. Jones has also gotten Alex into some difficult situations just so that she could reap the benefits. For example, in this story Alex needed advice on how to take down a hot air balloon and Ms. Jones suggested using a gun to shoot a hole through the balloon. This is a terrible idea because of the guards that would hear said shot. It seems as if Ms. Jones deliberately tries to get Alex hurt or killed and she cannot be trusted.

Backstory

There is really no backstory to Ms. Jones in this story because she was introduced in the first book. All that is said about her past before MI6 its she was a waitress and served Mr. Blunt before she was hired.
